Bummer, the U11 Plus may not be present at HTC's November 2 event

Next week looked like an exciting week in smartphone land, as we would be eagerly awaiting on both the iPhone X release, and the November 2 event before it that HTC sent out invitations for. The iPhone launch we've known and prepped about for a while now, but the HTC event was no less thrilling as we know there is a new and exciting flagship on the horizon - the U11 Plus - which is supposed to usher HTC into the "bezel-less" era, and then pile a bunch of exciting new features on top. Sadly, the November 2 event seems ...

Next week looked like an exciting week in smartphone land, as we would be eagerly awaiting on both the iPhone X release, and the November 2 event before it that HTC sent out invitations for. 

The iPhone launch we've known and prepped about for a while now, but the HTC event was no less thrilling as we know there is a new and exciting flagship on the horizon - the U11 Plus - which is supposed to usher HTC into the "bezel-less" era, and then pile a bunch of exciting new features on top. 

Sadly, the November 2 event seems set aside by HTC for the U11 Life midranger, not the U11 Plus just yet, as per perennial leakster Evan Blass, so we'll have to keep our ears to the ground about the eventual HTC U11 Plus appearance later in the season just a little bit longer.

Kids use their smart phones to contact their friends and family. For example, they can make video calls with Skype. That’s why parents would need a Skype hack tool to find out what their kids are up to or if they are contacting strangers and they are in danger.

Much ado about nothing: the 11/2 HTC event is to launch the decidedly mid-range U11 Life, not the +. Dial back your excitement accordingly.
