The latest handset from BlackBerry Mobile, the BlackBerry Motion, is expected to make its way stateside to Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. Thus far though, there has been no official word about U.S. availability for the "all touch" model. The regular retail price is expected to be in the area of $450 USD.

The BlackBerry Motion features a 5.5-inch LCD display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The energy sipping Snapdragon 625 chipset is under the hood, and combined with the 4000mAh battery, should result in long battery life (32+ hours of mixed use, says BlackBerry Mobile). With Quick Charge 3.0, the battery will refresh to 50% full in just 40 minutes. The phone is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. Those seeking additional storage can take advantage of the 2TB capacity micro SD slot. The back of the Motion is adorned with a 12MP camera featuring an aperture of f/2.0. The front-facing selfie snapper weighs in at 8MP.

This is the first BlackBerry handset to carry an IP certification rating, in this case it is IP67. That means the phone can be submerged in water as deep as 3.3 feet for as long as 30-minutes, and emerge unscathed. A fingerprint scanner is embedded in the home button underneath the screen. While Android 7.1 is pre-installed, BlackBerry Mobile says that the phone will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo, and will receive monthly security updates for at least 2-years.
