Samsung launches the Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition in the US

Samsung has just announced that its business-oriented version of Galaxy Note 8 is now available for purchase in the United States. The Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition was initially introduced in Germany and South Korea, so the announcement doesn't really mark a premier for this specific version of the flagship.

In terms of specs, there aren't any differences between the Enterprise Edition of Galaxy Note 8 and the regular model. Software-wise, things are a bit different, as the business-centric Galaxy Note 8 comes with Samsung Knox Configure and Samsung Enterprise Firmware Over the Air (E-FOTA).

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition is supposed to bring “enterprise-level customization, management, support and security enhancements” to the already successful Galaxy Note 8.

Last but not least, the South Korean company confirmed that the Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition will receive regular monthly security updates for up to three years. The smartphone is now available unlocked for $994 and can be purchased via authorized Samsung channel partners in the United States.
